Advanced Tips
Pro-level techniques for experienced Meccha Chameleon players.
- Gradient painting — sample 3-4 points across a surface and blend them for photorealistic matching.
- Silhouette psychology — seekers look for head-and-shoulders shapes. Flatten completely to become unrecognizable.
- Light angle exploitation — hide on the dark side of large objects where seekers' eyes haven't adjusted.
- Fake-out movement — during prep, briefly visit multiple spots to confuse seekers who watch prep patterns.
- Metallic bait — paint one small area slightly wrong to draw attention away from your main body.
- Sound awareness — seekers' footsteps are audible. Time your paint adjustments when they're far away.
- Map memorization — learn every map's object placements to know exactly what "belongs" vs what's a hider.
