  2. Configure Settings

Set game mode (Classic, Infection, Double), map selection, round timer, and player count.

  3. Set Privacy

Choose Public (anyone can join) or Private (password required). For friends, use Private and share the password.

  4. Share Room Info

Share your room name and password with friends via Steam chat or external messaging.

Joining a Game

  • Quick Match: Automatically joins the nearest available public lobby.
  • Browse Rooms: View a list of public lobbies, filter by map or mode.
  • Join by Name: Enter a specific room name and password to join a friend's private lobby.

Cross-Region Play: Private servers can appear across regions even when region settings don't match. If you can't find a friend's room, try switching your download region in Steam settings.
